Mikayla provided so many thoughtful and unique dessert ideas that I would never have imagined possible for a wedding dessert table. She was able to tie in our wedding theme colors into the desserts and table decor. The cake was gorgeous and flavorful; Mikayla incorporated flowers from my florist on the cake so that it matched the wedding bouquets. Mikayla did a great job with the set up and she communicated and worked with other vendors at our venue to ensure everything ran smoothly. “If you have found Blue Buffalo Bakery, your search for the best desserts is over and no- that's not an exaggeration. We asked Mikayla to make all of the desserts for our fall wedding. I knew I wanted cupcakes and while that was our starting point, Mikayla took our vision and ran with it creating a menu of desserts that people are still talking about to this day. The flavors she recommended were out of this world. She not only offered us cupcakes, but added a selection of cookies, mousse, and galettes which were on theme for our fall event. The wedding cake she made us was beautiful enough I had a hard time cutting it, but when I did I could not get over how amazing the flavor was. Mikayla was professional, attentive and creative in her process. She takes great pride in her work and it shows. “I asked Mikayla to make me a blueberry pie, because although it is a more rare choice for most, this was a delicious treat from my childhood that reminds me of my Grandmother. Let me tell you, she did NOT disappoint! Not only was the blueberry filling made with just the right amount of sweetness, but the topping was to die for! I was used to a thick crust layer, but Mikayla created a brown sugar and oats combination that delivered another added sweetness with also a touch of crunch that melted in your mouth! I’ll never buy a blueberry pie from the grocery store again!”
